Hello Bandana, thank you for taking the time to Interview with us. Tell us about yourself.
I was a banker when I began working. However, I have always been crazy about fashion. After a few years a lot of people started appreciating my sense of style and soon I started styling other people and I became a stylist. While doing styling I was told I had a beautiful and commercial face and would do very well as a model and so I gave it a shot and have never looked back after that.
What has been your favourite modelling job so far?
Most of the modelling assignments I have done have all been good and each project was a learning experience. It is hard to choose, but my favourite modelling has been for brands TATA Housing, BMW, TATA AIA, Shangri La Hotel etc.
What is your dream modelling job?
I would love to be a part of international brands which would make my presence felt across the globe.
Would you take any classes now?
No, I would not take any classes. I don’t think one needs to take up modelling classes. You need to be good looking, have the confidence and the right attitude. Rest you learn along while you take up new projects.
Are there any models in the industry you look up to?
I look up to models from a few years back like Mehr Jesia, Madhu Sapre etc. who were real supermodels.
If you weren’t a model, what would you want to do?
If I wasn’t a model I would be a full time Style Influencer.
Is modelling a luxury?
Modelling is a luxury because it is only a few people who are chosen to endorse, represent and be the face of a particular brand or brands. However a lot of hard work goes into it.
